Fantastic sheets

I've tried linen bedding from a number of sources, and I've concluded that Linenshed is the place to get it: soft and breathable material, impeccably made to fit my bed perfectly, comes a range of colors, shipped promptly, and with fantastically responsive customer service. I've been sleeping very happily on these, and have also ordered another set.

The quality is great, but

The quality is great, but the size isn't quite right for my queen size bed. It's a little big, which causes it to scrunch up at times. Very soft, Stone Gray is a lovely color.

Oversized top sheet, a bit rougher than expected, pure luxury

This is a wedding gift from my best friend. Before asking her to fork this much money I went ahead a bought a pair of sheets at half the price from somewhere else and verified that I loved sleeping on linen. When I received the sheets from Linenshed I noticed that they were rougher but silkier to the touch and the top sheet was way oversized, enough for a king bed. Both positive and negative things at the same time. First, I read and found out that the long staple linen is rougher initially that the medium staple linen, hence the cheaper sheets feeling smoother right away. But in the long run the long staple linen is incomparable, as it will last long and get smoother with every wash (already started happening). As for the size part, although it is confusing to have a sheet that much wider than needed, it turns out that we actually need to get a king size bed, so this will come handy as we would only need to replace the bottom sheet.

All in all, these are fabulous sheets and the very best (and only one) wedding gift!(well, this is our third try at marriage, we both have everything and much of it, no need for gifts).
